Any user set up as a Business Approver/Line Manager/Default Approver will have access to the Approval tab. This article provides information regarding the various available options.
Approval Options
The Approval tab includes various options and icons specific to each View, assisting you in completing approval tasks and offering additional details about each item.
In this view items can be selected and opened to view more information.
Icon | Description |

Inspect the attachment. These images can then be opened in a sub-window if required. | |
Select an item to be returned to the claimant. Remember to select SUBMIT to complete the task. | |
Select an item to be approved. Remember to select SUBMIT to complete the task. |

Checkboxes allow you to select several claims to perform a single action e.g. APPROVE or RETURN. | |

Supporting documentation is attached (hover the mouse over the icon to see the thumbnail image of the attachment). | |
The item has not been Finance approved. | |
The item has already been approved by Finance. | |
No notes have been added to the item. | |
Notes have been added to the item. | |
The item has not been forwarded by an Approver. | |
The item has been forwarded by an Approver. | |
The item has been escalated for higher-level approval |
