This article outlines the necessary steps to verify your PDF settings to troubleshoot the problem you may be experiencing with viewing PDF attachments in Zeno Expense. If you find that you are unable to access or view these attachments, it is essential to ensure that your settings are correctly configured.
To check your settings...
- Click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the web browser.
- Navigate to Settings > Cookies & Site Permissions > PDF Documents.
Ensure the Always download PDF files setting is NOT enabled.
If you are using Microsoft Edge, and if the default PDF application on your system is set to Adobe (or anything other than Edge), then the browser will not display the PDF attachment.
Based on your current configuration in Edge (with the "download pdf" option enabled"), if you were to change the default PDF application to Edge, then the PDF attachments should be visible in Zeno Expense.
- Navigate to System Settings > Default Apps, scroll to the Related Settings section, and select Choose defaults by type.
- Find .pdf and select.
- Select Microsoft Edge and click the Set default button.
If you are not comfortable changing this, it would be best to reach out to your internal IT team for further guidance. If the settings are correct or if you are unable to edit these settings, it might be a browser extension or security setting, and you should contact your internal helpdesk to confirm.
